Donald Trump is a billionaire who hangs out with other billionaires and elites in Washington DC. His cabinet contains more seriously rich people than ever seen before in these positions. This president just cannot get his head around poor people and their issues in America. Billionaire President struggles with ‘affordability’ concept. WTF? What is that? The divide between rich and poor in the United States has never been greater. Those Trump voters who were hoping for some scraps from the rich folk’s table are sadly out of touch with the new ruthless capitalism infecting America. What have we seen so far are tax cuts for billionaires and the slashing of health insurance benefits for the poor.
Affordability Is A Head Scratcher For President Trump
The greatest liar to ever lead from the White House is declaring ‘affordability’ a Democrat hoax. Denying cost of living struggles for poorer Americans, the President just cannot see it. Hey, it’s tough for billionaires to see that far down the food chain. Yes, the Trump regime has wacked on heavy tariffs, which push up prices on stuff that folk have to buy. Yes, more than a million jobs were lost in 2025 on President Trump’s watch. But wealthy Americans are doing just fine, thank you very much. Trump’s billionaire mates have never had it so good. Trump Says, WTF Is Affordability?
One of the problems with electing really rich individuals to run your country is that they don’t see or feel the same stuff that you and I do. Growing up with a silver spoon in your mouth, f*** that, a platinum engraved spoon, thank you very much, makes life very different at the top. Some rich people read books about the poor to try to comprehend their lives, but Donald Trump doesn’t read books. Maybe, he caught a few TV shows about them, let’s hope these were sympathetic to the plight of the poor, but I doubt it. Trump rose to popularity on the back of the MAGA faithful by promising them all sorts of stuff. How much of that has been delivered? Not much in the financial realm, I bet. The culture wars crap, yes, by attacking brown skinned Americans, LGBTQI folk, and women, accusing them of being DEI hires. They have got rid of that. On the economic front all the goodies have been reserved for the oligarchy, the billionaires who backed his campaign. Elon Musk, Peter Thiele, Mark Zuckerberg, Jef Bezos, Bill Gates and the list goes on and on. There are a lot of billionaires in America, which is what makes it great – for them! Unfortunately the tens of millions of poorer folk are at the very back of the queue. Bad luck America.

Many Trump supporters, especially in red states, are going to be adversely affected by the slashing of Obamacare and SNAP benefits. The billionaire first economic policies of the Trump administration will hurt millions of poorer Americans. I don’t know if you can eat your white supremacist and anti-immigration views but some folk are probably going to have to, to get by.”
