Fuel costs are shooting up downunder because of the United States sending battleships into the Middle East. Petrol prices rising thanks to Trump. American and Israeli interest in attacking Iran is at the root of this. President Donald Trump wants to make America into a petrostate power, despite the winds of change pushing the world to become electrostates. The US cannot compete with China in manufacturing, especially around solar panels and electric vehicles. So, to try and protect US hegemony Trump is content to sacrifice the world via global warming disasters. This is the absolute selfishness of America right before our eyes.
“Oil could top $US100 a barrel: How Iran conflict could curb Aussie spending
An attack on Iran that ballooned into a broader regional conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz could send Australian petrol prices soaring.”
Trump Sent Aircraft Carriers To Middle East Push Up Prices At The Pump
The Trump regime seems hell bent on making the working poor pay more for essentials in life. If it is not tariffs, which are in effect a consumption tax applied to prices, it is war mongering over oil. Invading Venezuela illegally and seizing its oil. Now, it is Iran’s turn to be bullied and threatened with war. President Trump is acting like a thug or mob boss demanding protection money. How much longer is the world going to put up with this deranged old man with a cabinet of extremists and creepy billionaires? We want our world back, not this chaotic and uncertain morass of greed and bullying. The upshot is that ordinary folk will pay more and the oligarchs will prosper at our expense.
President Donald Trump’s Military Actions Pushing Up Oil Prices
Petrol prices rising thanks to Trump. Inflation rising is another Trump effect on the world at large. America exports inflation, if you did not know this, as the dominant economy and currency. Whatever happens in the US impacts economically everywhere. Right wing folk downunder would like to blame Albanese but the reality is another matter entirely. Private spending on data centres downunder is estimated at $29 billion in total.
“Amazon Web Services says it will spend $20 billion in Australia over the next five years on business operations, including on a significant expansion of its data centre infrastructure. The commitment is a significant expansion of the $13.2 billion that the company had already announced for the period 2023 to 2027, with the $7 billion+ increase an indication of just how fast the opportunity is expanding.”
“Australia’s nascent data centre boom has given Treasurer Jim Chalmers something to crow about in his midyear budget update, but economists warn major reform is needed to fix the nation’s fiscal challenges.
In next week’s Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook, Dr Chalmers will reveal expected growth in business investment this financial year has doubled from 1.5 per cent to three per cent since pre-election budget forecasts were released in April. “
Blame Trump If You Are Pissed Off At Petrol Prices
Petrol prices rising thanks to Trump. Battleships send the wrong kind of message to markets. The Trump grift is all about shocks and instability, so that rich folk can profit from big swings in the market. Ordinary working folk get shafted, of course, but that has always been the Trump way. Donald Trump is part of the Epstein class, ruthless billionaires exploiting the rest of us for profit and pleasure. Americans are so dumb they re-elected this crook to make their lives even worse. Stupid is as stupid does!

The Transition To AI Will Be Like A Bad Golf Swing
“What do I mean by that? The AI transition will be like a bad golf swing. If you are a golfer you may know what bad golf swings feel like. One of the most common is the OTT golf swing. In this swing, the player rushes everything and attacks the golf ball from the top of the backswing. The resultant ball flight is an almighty slice to the right for most golfers. The important thing to comprehend here is a swing that gets out ahead of everything and gives the body no time to catch up. The uptake of artificial intelligence (AI) by corporations will see massive job losses, as it replaces white collar roles in firms and institutions. Like a bad golf swing, the AI transition will look really bad for millions of workers who have lost their employment.”
