Do we, as Aussies, reckon it’s OK to invade another sovereign nation and pirate their resources? Is that an Australian value? PM Anthony Albanese and his Cabinet are going to have to ask themselves this question. The Anglo-sons and daughters are quick to question China’s need to arm itself over recent years. Well, they have their answer in what has just occurred in Venezuela. The United States, under the Trump regime, will take what they like with no respect of the international rule of law. Does Australia share values with Trump’s America? This brings AUKUS into the harsh light of reality in 2026.
Do Australians Support Illegal Invasion & Piracy?
If we are looking for logical consistencies how is it possible to invade another country and snatch its President on trumped up drug trafficking charges? If President Donald Trump has immunity whilst he is President, according to SCOTUS, why hasn’t President Nicolas Maduro the same in his country. By what right does another nation have to prosecute the head of state of another sovereign nation? The answer is that they don’t. This is illegal piracy and an act of war. Does Australia share values with Trump’s America? Do we condone piracy and illegal invasions of nations? I thought that we were supporting Ukraine over the same thing done By Putin’s Russia to that nation? What about it Albo?
Do Aussies Support Trump’s Involvement With Epstein?
It is easy to throw accusations about crimes to the right wing media, which never investigates anything itself and acts as a cheerleader instead. The facts are that Donald Trump is a convicted felon, a fraudster who lied to banks and New York officials about the size of his real estate holdings for gain. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. This is, of course, a huge distraction from the Trump administration’s DOJ failure to release the Epstein files, as so instructed by Congress. This invasion has been by design a diversion from the MAGA backlash against Trump, as they realise they have been played for fools. A blindman and his dog knows that Donald Trump was involved with Jeffrey Epstein for years and years. They shared a sexual passion for young women/girls. It is interesting to note that the only person, bar the deceased Epstein himself, who has been brought to justice is a woman Ghislaine Maxwell, his co-conspirator in sexual trafficking. That is a statement about American culture, who carries the can and who gets off Scott free.
America is controlled by an oligarchy and has been for years. Its democracy has been a bought off sham for the longest time. President Donald Trump has brought this into the light, but not for any altruistic reasons, rather because he has no time for pretence getting in the way of his kleptocracy filling their boots. 5 companies control more than 90% of the American media. 78% of all doctors work for a corporation in the US. Ruthless capitalism feeds on Americans and the world unapologetically. If you are sick they will suck you dry of funds before you die. A million Americans died during Covid, many of them poorer folk who were abandoned by the state. Private interests drive the bus in the USA. ‘User pays’ no matter what, is the ethos of the whole place. It is exporting this to the rest of the world, as we speak.
Right Wing Politicians & Corporates’ Support Trump
Does Australia share values with Trump’s America? Some Australians do, with many of them on the Far Right, politically speaking. The LNP Coalition, brought out Trump’s campaign manager just prior to the last federal election. Many Libs, like Tony Abbott and Scott Morrison have been trying to make Australia more like America for years. They hate Medicare but Aussies love it. You see, they represent the bosses and the shareholders who see all of life as an opportunity to make money at the expense of others. Their embrace and creation of Robodebt was driven by their ideological rejection of the welfare state. 500, 000 Australians were accused of wrongly taking money off Centrelink and put under financial pressure to pay it back or prove otherwise. People died because of it. In the end, the whole vile scheme was declared to be illegal and incorrect in its financial assumptions. Their mates at PwC did a review into Robodebt during the 6 years it ran. Billions of taxpayer money was funnelled into these consultancy firms by the Coalition governments of Abbott, Turnbull and Morrison. These right wing politicians and corporate types support Trumpism. In many instances, these are the same companies and wealthy individuals who do not pay their fair share of tax downunder. Those on the Right see life as a zero sum game, which means they dedicate themselves to extracting as much as they can at your expense. Many believe they are entitled to such attitudes on the basis of their wealth, position, race, gender and family.
Trump’s America Is A Rotten Sore
If you look at Trump’s America and pay attention to what is happening over there, you can see what the whole Project 2025 play is. White supremacism, Christian Nationalism, toxic masculinity, and rampant deregulated capitalism are all features of President Donald Trump’s first year in Trump 2.0. Now, the invasion and regime change of an oil rich nearby nation. The tentacles of greed and theft are reaching out into Latin America – which is an old stamping ground of the oligarchy and American empire. There are lots of reasons why the US did what it did in Venezuela and none of them are about drugs. It is the lies of the Trump regime which turn my guts daily. If you cannot trust your leaders, you are f*****!
AUKUS Funds A Corrupt Regime
Does Australia want to be funding piracy and illegal invasions of sovereign nations? AUKUS does that. Do you keep aligning yourself with an entity, when its leadership is corrupt and evil? It is not business as usual, Australia. We should immediately suspend AUKUS, whilst we review it in light of recent events. We could spend the next 3 years in a bureaucratic churn over it and hope that Trump and the GOP are history. Meanwhile, redirect funds into the purchase of some submarines from somewhere else. The AUKUS deal is a pipedream anyway. This would require great leadership, of course.
