How does it get any better than this? There must have been good reason for golf to originate in chilly Scotland or Holland.

Stop Being A Sucker For New Stuff In Golf

Golfers are suckers for an endless parade of new stuff. No other sport pushes equipment upgrades every 6 months to a year. You don’t see tennis players buying new rackets every year. Plus, tennis players and hockey players don’t carry 14 clubs to use in every game. Stop being a sucker for new stuff in golf. Manufacturers are like drug pushers or pharmaceutical sales folk, as they push the belief that new sticks will solve the golf conundrum. Golf is a hard sport to play, as it takes great skill and mental resolve over nearly 5 hours. It is easy to fall into the false belief that a brand new club will provide instant relief.

The Most Important Shot In Golf

What is the most important shot in golf? Some would state your next one. I would say your last one on every hole. Most times that is going to be a putt. You see, when we are on that green in range of the hole, there is no more room for laying up or playing a recovery shot. There is but it cots us a stroke on the score card. The fascinating thing about the game of golf is that the closer you get to the hole the simpler the stroke required in many instances, but, also, the more it matters to get it right.

OMG the sky is going to fall in. In this partisan realm complaints about there being too many coloured faces on TV and LGBTQIA folk making too much noise are legion. Uppity women talking about sexual harassment and such like make their viewer’s blood boil – which is the whole idea for Fox. Getting their audience riled up keeps eyeballs on them and advertising rates going up for their revenue.Popularizing Poisonous Issues For Political GainThe politics of grievance is all about popularizing these causes for the benefit of candidates and the party. The party promoting these grievances doesn’t need positive policies. They just bang on about how the other side is to blame for the problem.
