Yes, we love our golf; but is nearly 5 hours of play just too much in the modern era? If you break down your round how much of it do you actually enjoy. Think about all that waiting around between shots and behind that dawdling four ball in front. Consider the endless delays in getting the job done over 18 holes. Is it really the most economical use of your leisure time on the weekend or whenever you get to play?

Why Do Entertainers & Rockstars Love the Game of Golf?

Golf was a game played by robotic old men at country clubs in the suburbs. This was my impression of the game when I was growing up. I loved footy, the big hits, the high marks, and the fast pace of play. Golf was not on my radar. I was into Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, and hard passionate rock music. I painted my entire bedroom black with one feature wall covered in tin foil. Now, I am older and my former heroes, those wild men of pop, play golf. Why do entertainers and rockstars love the game of golf?

OMG the sky is going to fall in. In this partisan realm complaints about there being too many coloured faces on TV and LGBTQIA folk making too much noise are legion. Uppity women talking about sexual harassment and such like make their viewer’s blood boil – which is the whole idea for Fox. Getting their audience riled up keeps eyeballs on them and advertising rates going up for their revenue.Popularizing Poisonous Issues For Political GainThe politics of grievance is all about popularizing these causes for the benefit of candidates and the party. The party promoting these grievances doesn’t need positive policies. They just bang on about how the other side is to blame for the problem.
