I have a disclosure to make first up. Moore Park was one of my regular golfing spots when I first started playing golf. I don’t know if you went through that stage of playing on your own or trying to play at any rate. Not being a member of any club or social club at the very start of my golfing journey I would venture out to public courses like Moore Park and hire clubs. It had a driving range so it made a fair bit of sense. Hearing now that it is for the chop it was a shock to the system. Moore Park Golf: The sacrificial scapegoat.

It seems, that I am transitioning from mere human to robotoid – an enhanced version of me. Becoming Robby the Robot: A golfer’s journey from fallible flesh to digital design. My golfing arsenal now contains so many technological devices that I am questioning my humanity. The most recent acquisition is the Shot Scope H4 and it may well have tipped me over the edge. It joins my hand held laser, my Phantom GPS, and the MiScore app on my phone. Some folks might mention the term ‘overkill’ here but I find each of these devices offers something unique, as well as their shared abilities.

Stop Being A Sucker For New Stuff In Golf

Golfers are suckers for an endless parade of new stuff. No other sport pushes equipment upgrades every 6 months to a year. You don’t see tennis players buying new rackets every year. Plus, tennis players and hockey players don’t carry 14 clubs to use in every game. Stop being a sucker for new stuff in golf. Manufacturers are like drug pushers or pharmaceutical sales folk, as they push the belief that new sticks will solve the golf conundrum. Golf is a hard sport to play, as it takes great skill and mental resolve over nearly 5 hours. It is easy to fall into the false belief that a brand new club will provide instant relief.

Tiger Woods Returns To PGA Tour At Riviera

To see Tiger stalking the fairways once more, this time dressed in white, was like a return to former years in golf. Tiger Woods returns to PGA Tour at Riviera Country Club in LA. Perhaps for a moment we could forget about LIV and the predations forced upon the men’s tour by greed and Saudi Arabian oil money. Hey, Tiger looked in much better shape with the limp barely noticeable. He hot it pretty good too. Sure he shanked one on the 18th but the recovery shot was sublime. For a player who hadn’t played at this level for some time he put in a solid performance.

OMG the sky is going to fall in. In this partisan realm complaints about there being too many coloured faces on TV and LGBTQIA folk making too much noise are legion. Uppity women talking about sexual harassment and such like make their viewer’s blood boil – which is the whole idea for Fox. Getting their audience riled up keeps eyeballs on them and advertising rates going up for their revenue.Popularizing Poisonous Issues For Political GainThe politics of grievance is all about popularizing these causes for the benefit of candidates and the party. The party promoting these grievances doesn’t need positive policies. They just bang on about how the other side is to blame for the problem.
