Learning To Take Lightly From Golf

I have been learning to take lightly from golf of late. What do I mean by this statement? The game of golf, as many of us well know, is a myriad of highs and lows, demanding a plethora of skills and a Stoic sensibility. Over the last few years I have been going at it like a bull in a China shop. Playing competitively up to 5 times a week and practising several times per week as well. I rebuilt my swing after copious lessons and YouTube video consultations. My intention was to become the best darned golfer I could be. End result I burned out and became mentally fractured. Now, I am reappraising my approach to golf and have taken a few steps back in a bid to regain my love for the sport.

Turn your focus around 180 degrees from out there to within. The answers to your quest for happiness will not be found out there, rather it will revealed by seeking within. Stop looking for short cuts and hacks in everything – the whole concept of giving less and expecting more is wrong. You are not gaming the system by this approach you are gaming yourself and your own integrity.

OMG the sky is going to fall in. In this partisan realm complaints about there being too many coloured faces on TV and LGBTQIA folk making too much noise are legion. Uppity women talking about sexual harassment and such like make their viewer’s blood boil – which is the whole idea for Fox. Getting their audience riled up keeps eyeballs on them and advertising rates going up for their revenue.Popularizing Poisonous Issues For Political GainThe politics of grievance is all about popularizing these causes for the benefit of candidates and the party. The party promoting these grievances doesn’t need positive policies. They just bang on about how the other side is to blame for the problem.
