Eddie McGuire on Footy Confidential, also, reckons that Sydney chairman Andrew Pridham is in the running to chair the AFL Commission. Where will that leave a club, already, in the doldrums?

Leadership of this footy club is under attack from the careerist ambitions of those presently in the big seats. The Sydney Swans are the AFL club that could not get the job done in 2024 and 2022. The playing group let the place down, with their weak efforts in two grand finals. Thrashed on the most important stage in the game of football, when they were expected to make a much better fist of it.
