Watching the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York is, unfortunately, full of boorish American fans. Loud mouthed American dickheads at the Ryder Cup. These unfunny voices in the crowd suffer from a particularly American condition – where they think everything is about them. It aint! We are watching the best golfers in the world and not tuning in to these f***wits! Calling out abuse to the European players before they hit is not OK. This is not a football match. Toxic masculinity is on display, and it could not be more misplaced.

American Fans Show No Class At Ryder Cup
The flag waving is one thing, but heckling players is way OTT. King Ugly, Donald Trump, is there, bringing his nasty presence to this international golf contest. The man who has made the USA more unpopular than ever before is, once again, polluting the great game of golf. Enough about Trump, already, he is a parasite hoping to grift off the glory of the event. Extremism is another particularly American character trait. Taking stuff too far with no thought for the other person on the end of it. Shut the f*** up America!
The American Failure To Fire & Crowd Control
A lot of these guys in the crowd must have never grown up. It reminds me of the class wit back at school, always, wanting to appear funny. Alas, nothing I heard hurled at European players was remotely amusing. Intoxicated schmucks in the crowd spoiling it for everyone else. Booing and stuff is barely OK. Why not reserve your energy for cheering your own team and leave the negative stuff alone. This is a golf event and if you have ever actually played golf it is not best served by mob behaviour on steroids. Loud mouthed American dickheads at the Ryder Cup.
Give It A Rest Yank
Of course, it is usually a small minority of individuals who ruin it for the rest. The majority of fans are just there for a good time. The chanting of U-S-A , U-S-A , U-S-A , is annoying for the neutral viewer wishing to watch some great golf. This, however, is the nature of the event in recent times. The European team quieted the home crowd via their winning play over the first day and a half of the Ryder Cup. It would be great if we could all remember this is about the golf!
Money Makes America Go Around!

The European players are happy to play for their nations, whilst the Americans want to be paid for their time. Putting aside the fact that these American players earn squillions of dollars via their elite golfing performances on their tours, it is a very real reflection of the lack of respect in which they hold their institutions and governing bodies.”
